ABOUT THE STUDIO.

After teaching acting at various companies around Melbourne since 1999, Adam formed ATA Acting Studio in 2011, and has since taught hundreds of actors of all ages and levels of experience.

ATA is for Children, Teens & Adults and consists of Group Classes, Industry Classes, Holiday Workshops & Private Tuition, across 6 different locations in Melbourne.

All classes are based on discovering Authenticity. Adam provides a supportive environment to allow the actor find the truth in each character and the scene. This is through personalisation, and various acting exercises & techniques.

The Group Classes are catered to the actor's individual needs. The classes are tailored for all skill levels, with many actors having gone onto to gain professional acting work within the entertainment industry; while other actors are simply wishing to gain Confidence and a different skill set.

ATA Classes are on a term-by-term basis. They run for 8 weeks and run parallel to the school term. Each term has an Open Class on the last lesson for family to watch the material we have been working on. It is a great way for parents to view the progress of each actor. We also have End of Year Showcases for both the Junior & Senior Actors, plus a Mid Year Acting Exhibition for the Teens & Adults. These are in Theatres and Industry Representatives are invited along with family. In the past years, we have had Casting Consultants, Directors & Producers attend.

ATA Actors have gone onto have lead roles in the Entertainment Industry, starring on Neighbours, Babyteeth, The Elephant Princess, Romper Stomper, Underbelly, Nim's Island, Turn Up The Volume, Jagged Little Pill, Matilda, Mary Poppins and many more.
